These brownies are the hands down favorite in my house. If I tell my kids I’m making “those brownies” there are smiles on my sullen teens. Cut the brownies into small pieces because they are so rich you will feel satiated and not feel guilty! Enjoy. Please watch the video to see how it all goes.

Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tblspoon unsweetened coco powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 8 oz good dark chocolate 72% finely chopped
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tablspoon vanilla
  • 8 oz unsalted butter
  • 1 tbl espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 2 and 1/2 cups sugar
  • optional
  • cup of walnuts
  • sifted powered sugar to dust
  • bake at 350 in 13 by 9 inch pan, grease and parchment
  • sift dry ingredients
  • melt butter and chocolate in double boiler
  • blend eggs, vanilla, coffee
  • then add sugar
  • then add chocolate mixture
  • add half the dry ingredients, fold in, don't beat.
  • pour in pan
  • Bake
